Prudential plc has announced the appointment of Mr Naveed Irshad as Regional CEO Africa, effective 26 October 2026.
He will also take enterprise-wide responsibility for the health and product businesses and will join Prudential’s Group Executive Committee.
Mr Irshad brings more than three decades of insurance and financial services experience across Asia and North America, with deep expertise in actuarial, product development, distribution, reinsurance and global in-force management, as well as driving customer-led solutions and growth. He has a strong track record of leading large teams and developing senior talent.
Prior to joining Prudential, Mr Irshad worked with Manulife and RGA.
