Tunisia:STAR posts double-digit growth in GWP in 2025

The Tunisian Insurance and Reinsurance Company (Star Assurances), the biggest insurer Tunisia, has reported that its gross written premiums rose by 12.2% to TND483.99m ($171m) in 2025, compared with 2024.

Non-life premiums amounted to TND417.92m in 2025 compared to TND66.07m for the life branch.

Total claims paid stood at TND272.62m in 2025, 2.5% higher than the TND266.10m in 2024.

Higher issuance of major subscription policies and single-voyage policies (land transport)

New business subscriptions and revaluation of existing portfolio contributions.
