Japan:Verisk estimates insured losses for 1 Jan Ishikawa quake to total up to US$3.3bn

Insured losses to properties from the 1 January M7.5 earthquake that struck near the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa prefecture will be between JPY260bn and JPY480bn (between $1.8bn and $3.3bn), according to estimates by the Extreme Event Solutions business unit of Verisk, a leading global data analytics and technology provider.
