Regulators and insurance experts were cautiously optimistic about the industry's outlook as they gathered at this year's International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) Annual Conference in Amsterdam to discuss enhancing policyholder protection and financial stability through governance and risk management. Throughout the event, the dialogue centred on regulatory prudence, and how much was too much.
