15th Annual Gulf Insurance Forum 2018
Theme: “Risk Assessment and Pricing in the Gulf Insurance Sector”

The 2018 edition of this annual forum will feature several panel discussions to address important issues and their impact on the insurance and reinsurance industry. 24th Indonesia Rendezvous
Theme: “From potential to reality: 2019 and beyond”
24-27 October, Bali, Indonesia
Held annually and hosted by the Indonesia General Insurance Association, this conference will hear discussion of what lies ahead for insurance, what is expected to happen in the global and domestic economy and what needs to be done by the industry and by regulators to sustain in the future. It will also provide networking opportunities to strengthen relationships.

Sharm El-Sheikh Rendezvous 
Theme: “Spreading Precious Ideas - SPI”
28-30 October, Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt
The 1st Sharm El-Sheikh Rendezvous will put together key experts and specialists from the regional and global reinsurance industry to address debatable issues and hot topics in the contemporary insurance industry. Ministers from Egypt will be present to share their expertise on the best means to take the industry to the next level. Topics will showcase the opportunities and challenges in the insurance market in Egypt, as well as discuss international insurance trends and best practices.
 
The event is organised by the Insurance Federation of Egypt, under the patronage of the Ministry of Public Enterprises and Financial Regulatory Authority. 

15th Singapore International Reinsurance Conference
Theme: “Reinsurance Reloaded”
29 October – 1 November, Singapore
The 15th SIRC is organised by Singapore Reinsurers’ Association in conjunction with the Reinsurance Brokers’ Association of Singapore, with Asia Insurance Review as the official media partner. Held at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre at Marina Bay Sands, it will provide high-level keynote speeches, networking and cooperation opportunities, with the Lloyd’s Coffee House acting as the integral core of the event where all interested parties meet under one roof. Singapore finance minister Heng Swee Keat is the guest of honour and official keynote speaker, while AIG global president and CEO Brian Duperreault will deliver the industry keynote.

PARIMA Tokyo 2018
Theme: “Overcoming Uncertainty”

Planned by risk managers for risk managers, this conference, free for all PARIMA members, will focus on topics specially suited to the Japan market, focusing on digital transformation, cyber risk, business interruption, Nat CAT, geopolitical and regulatory risk, human capital risk and international programmes.
