In early 2014, the Regulatory Framework Promotion of Pro-Poor Insurance Markets in Asia (RFPI) partnered with Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK) in cooperation with the Indonesian Syariah Insurance Association (AASI) on a microtakaful survey. Mr Nick Thornton and Prof Dr Zuriah Rahman of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) summarise the key insights and recommendations of the survey.
