Izabela Stofberg promoted to CUO of Santam Re

Santam Re, under Santam Insurance, has promoted Ms Izabela Stofberg to the role of CUO. At the time of her promotion, she was Cluster Market Head of Europe, Turkiye and Partnerships.

Ms Stofberg joined Santam Insurance in 2019 as Territorial Head of Reinsurance (Treaty) of CEE and Turkiye, according to her LinkedIn profile.

She brings more than 18 years of experience to her new role. She began her career with Willis Re in 2007 as an Associate Broker in the Global Engineering Treaty Team, before being promoted to Divisional Director of the team in 2013. Ms Stofberg also worked with Everest Re for about four years as an Engineering and Construction Underwriter.
