HDI Global has appointed Ms Georgina Smart head of global risk bloodstock and equine. In her new role, she will lead the firm's bloodstock and equine underwriting and distribution strategy across international markets and the US.
Prior to her new role, Ms Smart worked with Tokio Marine Kiln and Catlin Underwriting Agencies. She joins HDI from equine specialist, Ashby Underwriting.
