A new framework cooperation agreement between Moroccan Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS) and Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) will give a boost to development of research and financial education in the insurance and social welfare sectors in the country.
The agreement finalised in Rabat in December 2025 aims to develop joint projects by mobilising the expertise of both institutions and promoting knowledge sharing in areas of common interest. It seeks to combine the academic, scientific and technological capabilities of the University with the technical and regulatory expertise of ACAPS.
The framework cooperation agreement will cover education, continuing training, skills development, research, and financial education in the insurance and social welfare sectors.
With this focus the two parties will organise training and academic support programmes, as well as conduct research and development work related to current and future challenges in the sector.
The cooperation also includes a component dedicated to financial education, focusing on the design or adaptation of educational materials for different audiences, as well as the implementation of innovative initiatives drawing on UM6P's scientific capabilities and ACAPS' technical expertise.
This cooperation framework will be implemented through specific agreements that will set out the terms and conditions for the implementation of each project with a view to ensuring its effective and consistent completion.
