AFG & Yango in digital finance pilot in Cote d'Ivoire, starting with insurance

| 18 Aug 2026

Financial services group AFG Holding has signed a memorandum of understanding with Yango Cote d'Ivoire, a member of the Dubai-headquartered global technology company Yango Group, to develop financial and digital solutions in Cote d'Ivoire.

This collaboration will begin with insurance solutions before expanding to other financial and technological services.

Cote d'Ivoire will serve as a pilot for this partnership, with the potential to extend successful initiatives to other African markets where both Groups operate.

This partnership combines Yango Group's technological expertise with AFG Holding's experience in insurance, banking and other financial services. Yango Group develops digital services designed to simplify everyday life.

AFG Holding is the financial arm of the Atlantic Group, a pan-African multi-sector organisation also active in agriculture, agribusiness, industry, hospitality, and telecommunications. The group is present in 15 countries across West, Central, and East Africa, as well as the Indian Ocean region.
