Howden has announced leadership appointments and regional structure changes to better serve clients and insurer partners. According to a statement from the firm, these changes will more closely align expertise and shape the business to bring all of its growing capabilities and talent to clients across regional borders.
To this effect, the company has announced the creation of the EMEA broking region. In this area, Howden’s MEA businesses, including the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Tanzania, South Africa and its newly launched operation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, will align with the Howden Europe business to create a single EMEA broking region.
This operation will be led by Mr Luigi Sturani, CEO EMEA. Mr Richard Mockett, CEO, MEA, will report to Mr Sturani.
Mr Paul Redgate will be Chairman, MEA, alongside his role as Chairman, Specialty. He will also take on the role of Chairman, Howden India.
