Morocco:Earthquake in High Atlas mountains claims more than 2,000 lives

A powerful earthquake that struck the Ighil region of the High Atlas in central Morocco on 8 September has killed more than 2,000 people and injured 2,000 more, according to the Interior Ministry. This is the country's deadliest tremor in more than six decades.
