Morocco:Earthquake could cost losses of up to 8% of GDP

French global reinsurer SCOR has said that in addition to the heavy human toll caused by the violent earthquake which hit Morocco on the night of 8 September 2023, the loss of property could be significant. Many homes were uninsured.
