Uganda:Regulator says insurance growth inadequate to deepen penetration

The Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) has revealed that the insurance market in Uganda grew by 20% in 2022. However, the growth was not big enough to deepen penetration, which continues to be below 1%.
