Source: Middle East Insurance Review | Sep 2006

The National Company for Cooperative Insurance (NCCI) has renewed what is seen as the Middle East’s largest medical insurance deal with Saudi Telecom Company (STC).

The contract, worth SR516 million (US$137.58 million), is valid for three years from October 2006. It covers the medical expenses of all Saudi Telecom staff and their family members at around 300 hospitals and medical centres throughout the kingdom. The telecommunications group has around 22,000 employees.

NCCI, which is listed on the Saudi stock exchange, offers general insurance cover like automobile, aviation and engineering.
