Jordan: Insurance federation signs cooperation pact with international takaful body

The Jordan Insurance Federation (JIF) and the Khartoum-headquartered International Federation of Takaful and Islamic Insurance Companies (IFTI) signed a cooperation agreement last November to exchange expertise and achieve common goals.

The agreement focuses on organising training programmes by the two federations. Members of the two federations will enjoy incentive discounts to participate in IFTI-organised conferences, seminars, training programmes and workshops.

The cooperation agreement was signed on the sidelines of the activities of a symposium held under the theme, ‘Risk Management, Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering and Cyber Security’, organised by JIF and the General Arab Insurance Federation (GAIF). M
