Lebanon: GlobeMed partners with university to foster a culture of continuous learning

GlobeMed has partnered with the American University of Beirut (AUB) Suliman S. Olayan School of Business (OSB) as part of its efforts to foster a culture of continuous learning for all its team members.
As part of the partnership, 27 of its executives and directors from different operations in 12 markets from the MENA region participated in the executive leadership programme from 30 August to 3 September 2022.
OSB dean Dr Yusuf Sidani said, “The mission of the OSB at the AUB emphasises the importance of knowledge transfer which is accomplished in cooperation with leading institutions such as GlobeMed. This programme reinforces the notion that life-long learning is the best way to develop executive leaders and is the major contributor towards having innovative and entrepreneurial organisations.”
As leadership at the executive level involves unique demands and requires a unique skillset, the OSB executive education’s custom programme is crafted to balance between theoretical and practical approaches in order to build upon the leadership skills of executives with new insights, frameworks and tools. The programme features case discussions, peer learning, interactive exercises and action planning with topics revolving around sharpening strategic thinking, negotiation and conflict resolution, and understanding financial management.
