IUMI 2021 
2–15 September, Seoul virtual conference
The annual IUMI Conference, the largest event in the marine insurance industry, will be held in Seoul online for the first time in history. During the 10-day event, more than 40 presentation and discussion workshops will be held covering a wide range of topics including statistics, policy, hull, cargo, marine resources and energy, legal and loss prevention. 
 
47th African Insurance Organisation (AIO) Conference and Annual General Assembly
Theme: ‘Rebuilding Africa’s Economy – The Insurance Perspective’
4–8 September, Lagos, Nigeria
With the theme, ‘Rebuilding Africa’s Economy – The Insurance Perspective’, the conference will attempt to look at the broader issues of how insurance can contribute to and benefit from the efforts at rebuilding the African economy post-COVID-19.
 
2021 Dive In Festival 
Theme: ‘Active Allyship’
21–23 September
Dive In, the international festival for diversity and inclusion in insurance, is helping insurance get fit for the future, highlighting the business case for diverse and inclusive workplaces and providing practical ideas and inspiration for how to bring about positive change.
 
This year the festival will take place virtually for the first time meaning that festival goers will be able to access events all around the world, from New Zealand to South America. Among the main themes at this year’s festival include mental health, modern families and carers and multi-generational workplaces to add to gender, LGBT+,
multicultural, ethnicity, and disability.
