UAE: Watania launches online underwriting portal

The National Takaful Company (Watania) has launched a digital underwriting service allowing customers to secure a policy in “less than 4 minutes”.
“Providing easy and efficient access to customers to buy an insurance policy backed up with hassle-free fast claim settlement forms the core of the strategy,” said Watania CEO Gautam Datta.
“Our digital transformation was built around this strategy, and COVID-19 drove us to fast-track the process. We believe that with the launch of our Myconnect portal, we will come out stronger to fulfil our promise to deliver fast, efficient and competitive service to our customers.” M
