UK: ITS tackles wide-ranging topics, honours industry leaders

The 13th International Takaful Summit (ITS), which took place in London on 9-10 July, had as its theme ‘Takaful for all’, which aimed to address the full range of possibilities from tapping global reinsurance capacity to creating financial inclusion through micro-takaful, according to Mr M Iqbal Asaria of the Afkar Group – the organiser of the yearly event.
This year, the International Takaful Awards, held in conjunction with the summit, honoured 18 organisations and individuals for their contributions and leadership in the sector.
