Nigeria: New Insurance Commissioner appointed

Mr Alhaji Mohammed Kari has been appointed as the new Commissioner for Insurance and Chief Executive of the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) for a term of four years.

Mr Kari takes over from Mr Fola Daniel, who stepped down after eight-year tenure. Prior to his appointment, Mr Kari was NAICOM’s Deputy Commissioner, Technical.
