Takaful News - Dubai: Aman Shares its Expertise Beyond the UAE

Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Company (Aman) has signed a technical aid agreement with Kuwait-based Boubyan Takaful Insurance Company to provide operational and management assistance.

The agreement comprises of three phases: first to set up the administrative and technical structure of Boubyan; second to officially manage the operations; and finally the maintenance phase which includes auditing and follow-up.

Mr Hussein Mohammed Al Meeza, Managing Director of Aman, said: “Aman is the first takaful insurance company to provide management and operational services to customers outside the UAE, reflecting the confidence we have in our capabilities and also to achieve our noble aim to support the spread of takaful insurance locally and globally.”

Aman is also a shareholder in Boubyan Takaful Insurance Company.
