The Middle East Insurance Company (Meic) and Cairo Amman Bank (CAB) have announced the launch of a new insurance protection programme in Jordan, in the presence of Dr Bassel Hindawi, Director General of the Insurance Commission.
The programme will allow all Jordanians to have access to affordable insurance that will protect them and their loved ones from any unforeseen circumstances. It has four sub-categories including “Protecting my Home”, “Protecting my Family”, “Protecting me on the Road” and “Protecting my Education”.
Dr Rajai Sweis, Chairman of Meic’s Board of Directors, said: “We chose CAB because we both share the same goals and ambitions of providing a decent standard of living for all Jordanians by offering an insurance programme that covers all aspects of life and consists of simple conditions and procedures.”
On his part, Mr Kamal Al Bakri, Deputy General Manager for Operations and Assisting Services at CAB, said: “What distinguishes this programme is the consideration it gives to the financial backgrounds of all Jordanians. We make sure the monthly instalment is affordable by all and can also be deducted from the clients’ bank account every month.”
He adds that the bank tied up with Meic because of the insurer’s highly regarded reputation as one of Jordan’s leading insurance companies.
