The Jordan Insurance Federation (JIF) has launched a major and competitive tender to develop an AI-powered integrated institutional platform.
The MEGA Digital Transformation Project, centred around the implementation of the new core platform as the basic national insurance system in the Kingdom. The platform is part of the Federation’s strategic plan for digital transformation.
In recent years, JIF has taken steps to foster digital transformation across Jordan's insurance sector. Key actions by the Federation regarding digitalisation include encouraging member firms to leverage digital tools—such as automated reporting systems and AI-driven underwriting platforms. JIF submits proposals to the Central Bank to create an agile regulatory environment that accommodates InsurTech startups, e-insurance distribution, and online customer interactions.
JIF also organises training programmes to close digital skill gaps in AI application, smart risk management, data analytics, and digital product development. The Federation frequently collaborates with overseas bodies (such as joint programmes with the Palestinian Insurance Federation) to share technical expertise, align with global digital trends, and adopt technology-driven business models.
