Gallagher has promoted Mr Andy Winwood to the role of Senior Executive Officer for the Middle East and Africa, subject to regulatory approval.
In his new role, Mr Winwood is responsible for Gallagher’s business in the region, leading colleagues who support clients across the Middle East and further building the firm’s presence.
Mr Winwood joined Gallagher in 2025, bringing over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, as well as extensive knowledge of the risk environment in the Middle East. Prior to his new role, he held a number of senior broking and captive management roles in both the UK and Middle East, having commenced his career with a Lloyd’s broker in 1990. He joined from the Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Aramco).
