The number of actuaries in Egypt reached 50 individuals as of 31 March 2026, compared to 46 experts compared to 12 months previously, according to the Financial Regulatory Authority's report on the technical performance of non-banking financial activities.
The number of loss adjusting firms in the Egyptian insurance sector declined to 26 as of the end of March 2026, compared to 32 at 31 March 2025. The number of inspection and damage assessment experts (natural persons) reached 295 individuals by the end of last March, compared to 302 experts at 31 March 2025.
The number of individual insurance brokers reached about 16,206 as of the end of last March 2026, compared to 14,161 brokers 12 months previously. The number of brokerage companies approved by the Financial Regulatory Authority reached 99 companies, compared to 97 previously.
The number of insurance and reinsurance companies and cooperative insurance associations in the Egyptian market reached 39 at the end of March 2026.
