Aegist Specialty, a France-based MGA regulated by the ACPR, providing specialty underwriting across facultative and treaty, with a focus on Europe, Middle East and Africa, announced the appointment of Mr Samir Hemsi as CEO, effective October 2025. He will be based in Paris.
Before joining Aegist Specialty, Mr Hemsi served as chief underwriting officer at Westfield Specialty (International) for almost three years. Before that, he spent around 12 years at Argo Group, lastly as chief underwriting officer. In 2004, he Joined Sukoon Insurance Company as manager – facultative department.
