Algeria:Total premiums rose 15% to US$1.46 bln in 2013

The Algerian insurance market recorded total premiums of DZD113.9 billion (US$1.46 billion) in 2013, an increase of 15 percent over 2012, according to the latest figures released by the National Insurance Council (Conseil National des Assurances).
