Malaysia: Zurich Malaysia and Senang.io teams with Bank Islam to introduce digital solutions

Zurich Malaysia and Senang.io entered a strategic partnership with Bank Islam Malaysia (Bank Islam) to deliver takaful solutions through the Be U by Bank Islam app.

Through this collaboration, the three institutions launch the inaugural product ‘Microtakaful for Gig Workers’, which provides gig workers with comprehensive options, offering on-demand services, medical coverage and an in-app claim management platform. These tailor-made takaful services are designed to fit the gig community’s dynamic schedules and individual needs.

Senang.io and Bank Islam plan to introduce additional takaful products in collaboration with various reputable takaful providers within the next three years, which will encompass a wide range of takaful coverage catering to multiple population segments. M
