Tunisia: Around 100 exporters enjoy trade credit insurance subsidies for exports

The decree, allowing Tunisian companies this benefit, entered into force in October 2022.
 
Tunisian Company for Foreign Trade Insurance (COTUNACE) technical sales director Nizar Bezzai said, “This measure, which ends on 31 October, will be renewed for one year and a study is underway to assess its impact.”
 
He said this in a statement to Tunis Afrique Presse on the sidelines of an export credit insurance seminar organised by the Tunis Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIT) in partnership with COTUNACE.
 
CCIT president Mounir Mouakhar delivering his address during the seminar said, “Today, the risks are more important and it is strongly recommended for companies to take up insurance.” M
