Takaful Oman partners Ahlibank to launch new home contents policy

Ahlibank has tied up with Takaful Oman to provide a comprehensive takaful home contents product, as part of its bancassurance products and as part of efforts to provide a diverse bundle of financial products and services to customers across the Sultanate.

The takaful policy will cover accidental losses or damage to home contents due to perils such as fire, explosion, lighting, earthquake, smoke, storm and flood, riots, civil commotion and strike, malicious damage, impact by vehicles, aircraft or aerial devices and burglary. The policy will cover contents within residential apartments and villas in Oman.

The product offers plans with contributions starting from as low as OMR20 ($52) per year, where benefits include protection to home contents up to OMR50,000 and protection to personal belongings as high as OMR5,000. The bank has introduced these basic and premium offerings after careful deliberation and feedback to meet the specific demands of its customers, ultimately catering and tailoring them to their needs.
