On the hard path of consolidation

Lebanon’s oversaturated marketplace is in dire need for consolidation in the face of consistent tardy growth in the past five years due to tough economic and sociopolitical conditions. The government has offered insurers incentives to consider M&A seriously. Would this solve the market problems and would the government’s grand plan work? There are big challenges standing in the way.
