Oman Insurance Company (OIC) has become the first insurer in the Middle East to establish a corporate alliance with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
“While OIC has invested heavily in building robust internal control processes and corporate governance practices to detect fraud, this alliance will provide unique resources to minimise instances of fraud and improve profitability,” said Mr Christos Adamantiadis, CEO of OIC.
“Participation in the Corporate Alliance provides the training and resources needed to give an organisation like Oman Insurance Company the advantage of staying ahead of financial crimes,” said Mr James D Ratley, President of the ACFE.
The ACFE is recognised as the world’s largest and premier anti-fraud organisation and has partnerships with numerous Fortune Global 500 organisations. Its role is to support the implementation of anti-fraud best practices across organisations by providing access to tools, resources and training.
