Source: Middle East Insurance Review | Oct 2016

Iran’s biggest shipping operator, Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Line (IRISL), and Norway’s Skuld P&I Company have inked an agreement on a range of marine insurance, said media reports.

The MoU covers personnel training as well as exchange of knowledge and capabilities, reported the Mehr News Agency.
Headquartered in Oslo, Skuld was established in 1897 as a P&I club for Scandinavian shipowners. Since then, it has grown into a diversified marine insurer and now offers bespoke covers through Skuld P&I and Skuld 1897, a syndicate at Lloyd’s.
