Finalists of 3rd Middle East Insurance Industry Awards announced

Some 46 participants made it to the finals of the 3rd Middle East Insurance Industry Awards (MIIA), to recognise and salute excellence in the industry edging out some 278 other contenders in 16 categories.
The finalists were selected by a panel of 21 judges drawn from the various local, regional and international leaders in the market. The judges will meet on 3 October to select the winners, who will be feted at the Gala Awards Presentation Dinner to be held on 8 November in conjunction with the Dubai Rendezvous 2016.
The entries, both big and small and from local and international players, showed that there are stars around the MENA region doing outstanding things in the market beyond the call of duty. They want to make a difference and stand tall, said Mr Sivam Subramaniam, Editor-in-Chief, Middle East Insurance Review, organiser of the Awards co-branded with GAIF, FAIR and DIFC.
The Awards are heralded for its well-defined criteria, integrity of the judges, and transparent selection process. The results of the awards are audited by EY.
