International Takaful Summit
Theme: “Pathways for Matching Islamic Finance Assets to Takaful”
23-24 February, London, UK
There is a critical mismatch between the growth of Islamic finance and banking assets, and takaful provision for these assets. The Summit, now in its 10th year, will explore the reasons for this mismatch and look at ways in which this gap can be bridged, as well as takaful in large commercial risks. 
 
 
 
 
16th Asia CEO Insurance Summit
Theme: “Insuring a Smart World: the Next Uber?”

The 16th CEO Summit, co-organised by Asia Insurance Review and The Geneva Association, the global think-tank, will look at the next Uber in insurance, turning old problems into new opportunities, making insurers more customer centric, and stepping up to regulatory expectations.
 
 
 
 
4th Asia Insurance Brokers’ Summit
Theme: “The Broker’s USP Today – Meeting the Protection Gap of Clients”

The Summit will look at the unique value add that brokers bring to the business, as well as the challenges they face in a world of changing risk exposures, with Asia becoming a leader in insurance and a hot spot for Nat CATs.

10th Multaqa Qatar
13-15 March, Doha, Qatar
Since its launch in 2007, Multaqa Qatar has grown in size and stature, and is now widely regarded as the leading risk and insurance meeting for senior executives in the MENA region. The by-invitation-only event will be hosted by the Qatar Central Bank and the Qatar Financial Centre. Last year, more than 700 delegates participated in the Multaqa Qatar.

Theme: “Managing Increasing Exposures & New Risks in the Maritime World”

Held in conjunction with the 14th Asia Pacific Maritime, the Conference will provide networking and dialogue opportunities for shipowners, ship managers, underwriters and other stakeholders in the maritime industry. There will be active panel discussions and presentations on market development, regulations, underwriting, claims and risk management in maritime trade.

The two-day conference will look at hot topics in healthcare developments, including rising medical costs, healthcare innovation and the potential for growth and profitability.
Asia Motor Insurance & Claims Management Conference
Theme: “Being a Smart Motor Insurer”
29-30 March 2016, Bangkok, Thailand
Disruptive innovations in the auto world offer a brave new landscape of opportunities for motor insurers. To stay relevant, motor insurers are being forced to rethink their strategies. This two-day Asia Motor Conference will look at being a better and smarter insurer in the traditional space, as well as telematics, and insuring driverless cars.
