Uganda: Niko rebrands as Sanlam General Insurance

Niko Insurance has rebranded to Sanlam General Insurance, following the sale of 84% of its shares to South Africa-based financial services group Sanlam.

Mr Gary Corbit, CEO of Sanlam General Insurance, said the rebranding is in line with Sanlam Group’s focus on strengthening its identity and expanding its visibility on the continent in general and East Africa in particular. Sanlam Life Insurance in Uganda has also announced that it will undergo a branding.
