Qatar: Beema offers motor takaful over the phone

Damaan Islamic Insurance Company - Beema has introduced a new service, Beema at your Doorstep, in Qatar.

The service allows customers to renew or buy a comprehensive motor insurance policy over the phone through one of Beema’s customer service associates and get the policy delivered at their doorstep at no extra cost, according to a statement.

The service is the first of its kind in Qatar, said Mr Nasser Al Misnad, Beema’s Deputy CEO. He added: “Being one of the few Shariah-compliant insurance providers in Qatar, our primary goal is to reach our customers by providing a comprehensive range of innovative products and services and delivering quality customer services. Thus, we are constantly developing new customer service initiatives to make our customers’ lives easier.”

Beema recently introduced personal life takaful for any individual with a valid Qatari residency permit, between the ages of 18 and 64 years.
