Malaysia: PruBSN ties up with BSN on takaful plan

Prudential BSN Takaful (PruBSN) and Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) have launched a family takaful plan combining protection, savings and investment.
The product, Giro Takaful Premier (GTP) comes with a mobile application, PruBSN Insan, which enables searches for information related to religious aspects.
“We are confident that this plan brings an unrivalled proposition to BSN’s customers. The offering of this innovative plan will serve to deepen our business ties,” said Mr Azim Mithani, CEO of PruBSN.
Mr Azim added that the focus remains on providing customer-centric solutions, not just products, with greater emphasis on linking technology to enhance their value propositions.
The new product is available at BSN’s Islamic branches.
Incorporated in 2006, PruBSN is a joint venture between Prudential Corporation and BSN.
