UAE: Fenchurch Faris grows presence in Dubai

Source: Middle East Insurance Review | May 2015

International insurance broking and consultancy firm, Fenchurch Faris, has launched a new branch office in Dubai that became fully operational recently. The establishment of the branch follows the setting up of the company’s representative office in the DIFC last December.

The branch engages in direct and wholesale insurance broking services for the Dubai market, bringing Fenchurch Faris closer in proximity to its ever-increasing portfolio of clients in the emirate, the company said in a statement.

Mr Rafat B Faris, the company’s Executive Committee Chairman, said: “Our new Business Bay office follows on the heels of our DIFC Representative Office launch in December and represents one step in our recent geographic expansion plans for the MENA region. This will be followed by our Muscat office launch in the next few months.”

Fenchurch Faris’ Dubai office is headed by Mr Mohammad Khamis, who has 15 years of experience in the UAE market, where he worked at Dubai Islamic Insurance & Reinsurance Company (AMAN) and Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC) before joining Fenchurch Faris in 2012.

Athens-headquartered Fenchurch Faris already has offices in Abu Dhabi, Amman, Kuwait, and Riyadh.
