MENA & GCC: Zein Hawwari of Arab Re wins Multaqa's 1st ever Essay Contest

Mr Zein Hawwari, an R&D Analyst with Arab Re, has emerged as the winner of the inaugural Multaqa Qatar essay competition, with his essay on the role of regulators.

The competition, organised by GR and the Qatar Financial Centre, and supported by the MENA Insurance CEO Club (MICC), was aimed at provoking debate and intelligent analysis on the future of insurance in the MENA region.

Messrs Udayan Burma of Al Koot Insurance & Reinsurance and Cyril George of Vision Insurance were the authors of the other shortlisted winning essays. The competition was open to insurance and reinsurance professionals based in or doing business in the region.

The winning essay will be published in the summer issue of GR.
