GlobeMed Group, the leading healthcare benefits management company in the MENA region, and the Higher Institute of Public Health (ISSP) at Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ) have announced the launch of two specialised diploma programs in Clinical Coding and Health Information Analysis for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Registration is underway for the programmes, which are designed to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in these fields.
The Clinical Coding Diploma Programme starts on 6 October 2026. Now in its 25th year, the programme has trained hundreds of professionals from insurance companies and private and public health institutions. The 19-credit, on-campus programme is open to physicians, nurses, medical coders and billers, and healthcare staff. It aims to promote standardised health information coding, simplify medical data recording, and improve data coding quality.
The Health Information Analysis Diploma Programme also begins on 6 October. Offered fully online, the 20-credit programme has a seven-year track record and attracts professionals from across the MENA region. Its curriculum covers health data acquisition and management, health systems and outcomes analysis, biostatistics, and business intelligence tools. It is open to professionals from healthcare providers, research institutes, health ministries, and private insurance companies.
Through this collaboration, GlobeMed and USJ reaffirm their commitment to advancing education in medical coding and health information analysis and strengthening health systems in Lebanon and the region.
