Emirates Insurance Company has announced the appointment of Mr Jean Claus as CFO, effective 1 May 2026. His appointment followed the retirement of Mr Aart Lehmkuhl on 30 April 2026.
Mr Claus’s appointment was approved by the Board Committee on 3 November 2025 and subsequently received a “no objection” from the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE), said the company in a statement filed with the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange.
Mr Claus, a French national, is an experienced CFO with a long career at Allianz, a leading European insurance company. He has held finance leadership roles across several Allianz subsidiaries worldwide, including a period within their Dubai operations, and brings extensive expertise from senior positions at multinational companies.
