The Insurance Association of Turkiye (TSB) has named members of its new board, headed by Mr Ahmet Yasar, following elections at its annual general assembly held on 8 April 2026.
Apart from TSB President Mr Yasar, the new five-member board consists of Messrs Fahri Ugur and Ayhan Sincek as Vice President, and Ms Neslihan Neciboglu and Mr Serkan Ugras Kaygalak as board members.
The Non-Life and Life and Pension Management Committees of the TSB have held their first meetings. Each committee has nine members.
Mr Fahri Ugur was elected President of the Non-Life Management Committee, and Ms Neslihan Neciboglu as Vice President.
On the Life and Pension Management Committee, Mr Ayhan Sincek was elected President and Mr Serkan Ugras Kaygalak as Vice President
Mr Yasar stated that the board and committee members would work in unity with all stakeholders to increase the insurance sector's contribution to the national economy, strengthen insurance awareness, and elevate the sector to higher levels. He stated that the aim is to at least double the size of the insurance market, prioritising digitalisation, sustainability, and customer focus.
