Saudi Arabia:Digital insurance awareness platform launched

| 20 Apr 2026

The Saudi authorities have launched Ta'amman, the first independent digital platform dedicated to raising insurance awareness across all segments of society.

Ta’amman was developed to provide a reliable source of knowledge that clarifies the role of insurance as a tool for managing and transferring risks to insurance companies, and helps users understand insurance coverage and how to benefit from it in practice.

The platform explains insurance products and services in a simplified manner, facilitates comprehension of complex concepts and corrects misconceptions about insurance. The platform reflects the Saudi market’s commitment to consumer empowerment and protection, as well as the development of a more transparent and reliable insurance environment.

Ta'amman provides accessible and easy-to-understand content, including articles, videos, and interactive tools. Its aim is to correct misconceptions about compensation mechanisms, policy exclusions and the rights and obligations of policyholders.

The platform does not sell insurance or provide commercial recommendations or comparisons between insurance companies.
