The Ivorian holding company SCHIBA has launched its life insurance unit, called Schiba Assurance Vie.
The launch on 9 April was made four years after the introduction of its property and casualty insurance services through Schiba Assurances.
The launch reflects the group's commitment to structuring its insurance division and strengthening its presence in the Ivorian market, according to a statement released by SCHIBA, a multi-sector Ivorian group.
Through Schiba Assurance Vie, the group intends to support the growth of the Ivorian insurance sector by offering solutions tailored to the needs of individuals as well as companies, aligned with the expansion of financial inclusion and the development of social protection schemes.
SCHIBA Assurances Vie has developed a diverse range of products for individuals, businesses, and financial institutions. These offerings include savings, retirement planning and family protection.
Founded in 2008, SCHIBA is a diversified holding company active in construction and public works, real estate, trading, energy, hydrocarbons, and transportation. Its entry into the insurance sector reflects a desire to seize new opportunities in a rapidly expanding industry, driven by growing demand for risk coverage and savings products, the press release states.
