MAPFRE has appointed Mr Jorge Colomer as CEO of its asset management firm, MAPFRE AM. He will take the helm of the management firm at a pivotal moment, as MAPFRE is stepping up its strategic focus on the financial business by expanding its presence in investment, savings and wealth management solutions.
Mr Colomer brings over 25 years of professional experience in investment, asset management and private banking. He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Complutense University of Madrid, and has a strong financial background as well as ESG Analyst (CESGA) certification.
He succeeds Mr Álvaro Anguita, who has successfully led the firm since its founding over 30 years ago.
