Intense competition for this year's Middle East Insurance Industry Awards has produced a distinguished list of 56 finalists, encompassing insurers, brokers, risk managers, service providers, and industry leaders.
Each finalist is contending for recognition in their respective category in the 12th annual edition of these prestigious industry awards. The competition this year drew 150 entries from across the region hoping to win the top honours in 19 categories. The finalists were shortlisted by a panel of 22 judges – comprising CEOs, senior executives, association heads and industry experts – through a remote judging process.
The awards acknowledge the achievements of individuals and companies in the insurance sector across the MENA region. The awards seek to encourage higher standards and increased professionalism within the market. The process is structured with defined criteria and judging requirements to ensure transparency.
In the first stage, judges arrive at a list of finalists by going through entries comprising a 1,200- word write-up each. The final round will take place on 24th and 25th September where the judges will discuss the shortlist in detail to select the winners by secret ballot. The entire process is audited by EY.
The winners will be announced at a gala dinner on 26 November 2025 at Atlantis The Palm, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
