Algeria:Insurance body says progress made on industry reform proposals

Representatives of Algeria's insurance industry met officials of the Ministry of Finance last month on the need for reform of the sector, Mr Hassen Khelifati, vice president of the Algerian Union of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies (UAR) and CEO of the insurer Alliance Assurances, has revealed.
