Egypt:Several positive factors favour insurance sector's growth

The forecast for the performance of the Egyptian insurance market for the year ending 30 June 2022 (FY22) is favourable, on the back of a 15% growth in written premiums to EGP46bn ($2.9bn) in FY21, according to Mr Alaa El-Zoheiry, chairman of the Insurance Federation of Egypt (IFE).
